As parents we are constantly striving to raise happy and healthy children. We worry about what they eat and how much sleep they get. We focus on time with family and friends. We buy the newest toys and tools to build their skills, but did you know that you can also help build their brain?
A child’s brain is building new connections at the rate of 1 million neural connections per second!! These connections form new memories that will carry them into adulthood. The way we speak to them, play with them, and help them handle life’s challenges will forever change the way they make decisions and process emotions. There are things you can do now to help your child build a happy, healthy brain.
Join us for The Growing Brain parent webinar to learn how to help your child, age birth to 3 years of age, through your communication and play styles. We will talk about how the brain forms and grows, how routines can be adapted to best support young children, and those challenging toddler behaviors that keep us on our toes.
Presented by Lauren Russell, Developmental Specialist and Early Childhood Educator, and parent of 3 children under the age of 4. Together we will learn, discuss, and problem solve the developmental challenges that you are facing with your young children. About to become a parent again, or for the first time? Join us to learn how your baby’s brain develops from birth into preschool and how you can facilitate learning.
